Access to Barstow square is possible via King Street where free parking is available after 6pm and on Sundays. Outside these hours we recommend parking in the nearby Granary Car Park (100 yards) 70p for 1 hour or £1.20 for 2 hours. Car park fees in this car park will be refunded by esteem. The Studio can be found at the very bottom of Barstow sqaure just before entrance to Westgate. Access to the facility by bus or train is easy both stations are less than 5 min walk via access from Westgate Road, next to Flares Bar.

The esteem studio is a brand new facility based in Wakefield City Centre. It was designed and opened with only one thing in mind, Personal Training. At esteem we are proud not to be a gym. We believe to be at your best you need to be comfortable and at ease. You even get to choose the music. We believe personal training is just that, personal. Our studio is dedicated to one person at one time and benefits from a private shower and change room.

The Equipment

We have all brand new equipment from only the best suppliers all picked with personal training in mind. We believe in creating true plains of movement and a lot of what we do involves free movement and cable resistance. Both create more natural movement meaning you do the work not the machine. Our state of the art Fluid water rowing machine provides a more natural stroke and with our knowledge, gym balls, medicine balls, power bags, gym sticks, floor mats, pl-yo platforms, dumb bells, boxing equipment, skipping ropes and much more are used to give full body workouts with not a treadmill in sight.
